This is a chapter from my current WIP. In this chapter, the main character, Kyr, has to attend the funeral of her Great-Aunt Celeste, along with her boyfriend, Spook; her brother, Graham; and her niece, Marissa. A few unexpected events make it a funeral that Kyr won't soon forget.

Leah doesn't know what to think as the town she knew as her home falls to shambles. Will she fall with the town or will she run away with the mystery man she has a secret obsession with.
