The Green Dragon

I was drawing a blank for this week's prompt. In fact, I sat here so long my screensaver came on. This little guy to your left lives (or lived, not sure of their lifespan) on my patio. He happily posed for me last year in return for a couple of fruit flies. Once I had my protagonist identified, the rest just sort of dribbled out.
