Chaos.

It was utter chaos.

Alarms flared causing all in the vicinity to panic -scattering like ants about the building. Something had caused this particular disturbance. It was an unusual occurrence but it was to be the first of many.

Theodore Storm walked briskly into the elevator after successfully weaving his was through the crowd of panicked co-workers. The elevator was newly commissioned and had been made of pure glass to allow observation, what could be seen were scientists working helter- skelter to decipher the problem. Or at least locate the source.

The elevator doors open as soon as it reached his destination. He gripped his folder tighter than he had before, probably to make sure it hadn't disappeared. He stepped off the elevator and walked down the long hall way that seemed to go on forever until he reached the mahogany doubled door. He raised his hand and knocked twice.

"Come in" said a voice from the other side and so he did.

Seated- pardon, towering over a desk at the far end of the room was the dark looming figure that was known simply as "The Boss". Few knew of his existence, and that was exactly how he liked it.

The boss reclined in his chair gazed coldly at Storm. "Oh, its you" he said, dryly.

Storm gulped, that wasn't the best way to start. "Uh, s-sir we have a problem-"

"Yes, we do" the boss stood from his chair and walked towards the window behind his chair. "I woke up this morning. I heard a siren" he paused and looked over his shoulder at Storm. "Why?" It wasn't a question that needed to be asked twice.

"I-I..."

"You what?" He snapped.

"I know why"

The boss faced him eyes narrowed in distaste. "Well,"

Storm released a shaky breathe. After his what he was about to say, he knew his boss' wrath would surely follow.

"Someone woke up"

As he gathered his courage, the sound of cheerful voices and laughter filled the night, imbuing the air with excitement and possibility. With friends by his side and stars above him, it was time for Theo to embrace the adventure that lay ahead. "Tonight's going to be amazing," he thought to himself, a hopeful spark igniting within him. As the event unfolded, he would find a way to connect with Lily-to turn those distant constellations of his feelings into something real. With a surge of courage, Theo closed the gap, leaning in as he pressed his lips against hers. The world around them dissolved into a blur, the laughter and chatter fading to a soft hum as he lost himself in the magic of the kiss. It felt like they were floating beneath the stars, cradled by the universe itself. "What did you realize?" Theo asked, his heart thumping as he leaned closer. "That I can't keep pretending I don't want to be more than friends," she admitted, her voice trembling slightly. "I want to explore this with you, whatever it is. But that means risking everything." Theo felt a sense of relief wash over him. "Me too. I've felt it for a long time, but I didn't know how to say it." "Lily, I-" Theo began, but she cut him off, her voice rising with emotion. "No, Theo. You listen," she interjected, clearly fighting to keep her composure. "I get that work is important. I really do. But it feels like you're avoiding me. I don't even remember the last time we had a real conversation." A wave of guilt washed over Theo. He stepped away from the door, letting her enter fully as he ran a hand through his hair. "Lily, I'm so sorry. I've just gotten buried in this project, and it slipped away from me. I didn't mean for you to feel ignored-that was never my intention." "Are you family?" the doctor inquired, looking between Theo and Lily. "No, but we're friends. What happened?" Theo's voice cracked, a knot tightening in his throat.

- "God Blake, you're a true enigma" Her eyes widened slightly at his words. "I don't understand" she claimed, backing up a step from him, which he had clearly noticed. And to her shock, he took a step forward, blocking the gap she had just created. "You seriously don't see what I was trying to do up there?!" he asked, almost in disbelief. "Do you have any idea how long I've been waiting to do that?!" she couldn't believe how loud he was suddenly. She had always known Lucian as a calm person with a soft, almost brooding voice that he never raised. Now it almost sounded excited, it was interesting seeing a new side of Lucian Black. - Something is happening at Cross Climb High-school Although it seems fairly normal, students going amongst their days unbeknownst to who they travel life beside. Blake Collins was forced to move schools, along with her four best friends. With her mother dead and her father in prison for attempting to murder her brother, she's in foster care, struggling every day with panic attacks and obsessive thoughts from a past of psychological damage. In her new school, she deals with not only her constant daily struggle to maintain normalcy, but also somehow becoming the director of the school play. Add a crush on the school's bad boy, Zac, who seems more interested in Stella, Blake's promiscuous best friend and also contending with another one of the school's popular boys, Lucian, chasing her constantly despite firmly keeping up her barriers. Everything seems fairly normal, at least at first. But, brewing nearby is a rage so intense that it's about to bubble over, and when strange things start happening around her, Blake can't help but fear the worst events will unfold and hope that it won't take the lives of those she loves along with her own. Be careful, because you never know what people are really thinking. - *Warning* Swear words, violence, thoughts of self harm, and spelling mistakes that I need to fix and I swear I will.

In a realm where the boundaries between myth and reality blur, five unlikely companions find their destinies intertwined, each carrying the weight of a past that haunts them and a future that calls to them. Leading them is a being unlike any other, forged in the fires of both machine and infernal magic-a part robot, part demon, struggling to balance the cold logic of their mechanical side with the fiery passions of their demonic heritage. Beside them walks a creature once feared as a legend-a mythical beast, born of ancient lore and monstrous strength, now turned good by the power of a heart that refuses to succumb to its dark origins. Their redemption is a fragile thing, constantly tested by the shadows of their past. The group is anchored by two brothers, ordinary in appearance yet extraordinary in spirit. In a world dominated by magic and fantastical beings, these humans stand as a testament to the true power of humanity. Their courage, ingenuity, and unbreakable bond are a beacon of hope, proving that even in a land of wonders, the strength of the human heart and mind can prevail against the mightiest of foes. Finally, there is the folklore monster, a creature of nightmares brought to life, who now seeks a new path. Learning to have a heart in a world that fears them, they struggle to redefine their identity, torn between the monstrous instincts that once defined them and the emerging compassion that could save them. Together, this unlikely band embarks on a journey fraught with peril and discovery, not just of the world around them, but of themselves. As they face trials that would break the strongest of souls, they find that their greatest strength lies not in their individual powers, but in the unity forged by friendship, understanding, and the shared pursuit of a destiny greater than any of them could achieve alone.

My breathing was ragged, and my heart pounded wildly, a mixture of anger, confusion, and hurt churning inside me. "I didn't kiss her. She kissed me." A sarcastic laugh escaped me. "How nice for you! You don't even have to chase after women; they just throw themselves at you. Why don't you stay with her, then? Leave me alone!" "I like bothering you," he replied calmly, his voice infuriatingly smooth. "I like it when act like this. Feisty and hot." He sat on the edge of the bed, watching me. I paused, his words striking a chord. "Shut up!!" I snapped, trying to convince myself as much as him. He sighed, his gaze softening. "Stop being mad. I didn't kiss her." "Oh, but you flirted with her, right? Just like you flirted with me? Is that your game? Getting under my skin until you're bored?" I rolled my eyes, feeling the irritation and hurt I'd buried begin to rise again. He reached for me, but I shoved him back just enough to see his face. His eyes held mine as he sighed again. "No." "What then? Am I not enough of a challenge for you anymore? Is that why you keep another girl around?" [Twelve years ago, she crashed her dad's car while trying to escape, nearly killing the love of her life in the process. Since then, a part of her has been lost.
