Y'all I was 12 when I started writing this please don't drag me, I'll come back to this in a decade or something to make it better-

Some nights when Robin is all alone after his patrol he sings to himself. The music fills the silence distracting him from the nightmares of the night he 'died'. The night he really saw the danger to it all. One night Wally runs over to Wayne Manor after having a nightmare that Dick had actually died that night. He runs over to find Dick just singing. Wally finds his voice calming and they come up with an arrangement for Wally to come over and for Robin to sing. What happens when one night Robin sings a song that makes both of them compelled to finally tell their true feelings?

Disclaimer I don't own Young Justice. Whoever does is not me. I only own the plot and that's about it.

"Hazel." "What?" "My name." I swallowed hesitantly, afraid to shatter the silence between us anymore than I already had, "It's Hazel." The silence of the night made it seem as if someone breathing too loud could make the silence shatter into a million pieces. My voice was no exception, and I was terrified that if I spoke to loud, even one word, the it would shatter, along with everything in the room. The silence seemed to make my voice feel smaller than it was, so when I finally heard his footsteps again, it shocked me to hear how loud and distinctive each one was, as if the silence broke just for him. As if he ruled the silence. It's as if he didn't even view the silence as fragile, but a force that he had to over come. And he didn't want to back down from the fight. <~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~> Summary: Hazel has always tried to do the right thing and be the best person she can be, but that can get confusing when you end up being hunted by someone you don't even know. Or she thought she didn't. Her life has few shadows and a lot of light. Jason Todd has a past that he can't seem to recover from, while Hazel has a past that seems perfect. What happens when both of these are proved wrong? His life has a lot of shadows and few light. And what if the person who helps Hazel ends up being the person who is the most opposite from her? <~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~> Rankings: Jason Todd #4 Batfamily #1 Red hood #1 Nightwing #1 Robin #1 Red Robin #2 bruce wayne #1 batman #1 wally west #1 dick grayson #1 tim drake #3 original character #4

Dick Grayson was fed up with Batman, that's true, but he was also tired, tired of always being treated like a kid, tired of keeping secrets, tired of fighting his inappropriate feeling for his best friend, just tired. At sixteen Dick left Batman, and he also left the team, he wanted to be his own hero, work by himself with out living under the shadow of the big bad bat, and he was also running, running from the feelings he wasn't supposed to have. Five years later he gets an offer, the team wants him to join, except they don't know he used to be Robin, and he's not about to tell them.
