Ha! You think your world is sexist? Wait until you see Eletra's! Eletra is a fifteen-year-old girl who lives on the planet Goson. And her world is one of the strictest in the galaxy. Girls live by three simple rules that they must follow in order to live: 1)Always remain feminine 2)Never disobey a man or boy who gives you orders 3) Girls can't be clever, smart, intelligent or amount to anything. If you live by these rules, all girls are assured a "good" life. But Eletra sees things differently. She feels trapped by gender roles, by her society's unwillingness to see girls as anything but worthless beings that must cater to a man's wishes. Eletra is sneaky, clever, and finds ways to beat the system. Take her journey as she finds others who agree with her, as she fights for her rights, and wishes for everyone to be equal.
