Belle Thompson is an 18 year old commoner who has to take care of her little sister Charlie and her mother as her brother, Jack, was kidnapped by farther who rejected the common land hundreds of years ago. The commoners are resistors and many have been killed, including Belle's father, whenever a war occurs.
