His father wanted a more manly path for his son and when that was clear it wasn't going to happen Thomas's father left him and his mother taking Thomas's older sister with him. This lead Thomas's mother to work hard to provide the life her son needed. When Thomas turned 14 he sent in an audition video to a Korean music company called WEIYON music and hoped to be chosen for training.
