Melody is sixteen and can't remember the first eight years of her life. The only thing she can remember is a melody, cliché right? She is terribly shy and friendless until she runs into Logan Jacobs. No, she literally ran into the guy. Their friendship starts to turn into something more, but Logan isn't the only one looking for Melody's attention. But which is the one with good intentions? Logan wasn't supposed to fall in love, it wasn't in the job description. The job description was protecting Melody with his life. He wasn't supposed to have any emotional attachments to anyone. Anyone he cared about instantly had a big red target painted on their back, but why? And what is up with this weird Celestia place, how does Nutella (a.k.a the best food EVER) save Melody's life, and why is the janitor the coolest person in this book?
