I swallow the last bit of my pancakes slowly, my eyes wandering up his body until they stop at his face. He seems displeased. Very much so. His hand grabs the part where my head and neck connect and he slowly but firmly tilts my head back, his fingers tangling in my hair. His skin is rough on mine but still oddly comforting. I nod, my head subconsciously leaning into his touch my eyes closing on their own accord. His thumb caresses my cheekbone and I never want him to stop. She didn't know it yet, but he was on the hunt for the same thing. She stumbled upon a creature that looked like a half dog half human with a mask and a necklace of bloody fingers and ears. It was eating the flesh of a dead man. The sight made her sick to her stomach, and the creature targeted her next. That's when the man she saw in the distance intervened. He had some kind of training to fight something like that, and the woman had to go through it now too. To the public she was dead, but to the creepy pastas she was next in line to being their worst nightmare.
