You Are My Sunshine // A Finnick Fanfic
When Reef, a young girl from District Four, thinks she'll make it through her last year of the reaping, finds that she was unsuccessful. She had been reaped for the 70th annual Hunger Games and must fight for her life in an arena against 23 other tributes from the other 12 districts.
With the charming Finnick Odair as her mentor, she knows she has to fight, she has to live for her brother and herself. Reef also finds herself falling for her mentor, and maybe he sees something in her as well. But that is the least of her problems as she thinks hard about her strategies to win the games.
With the arenas always changing, no matter how much she hates to be associated as one, Reef must think and train like a career if she truly wishes to win. That is, until a certain district reaches out for an alliance.
If she survives the Hunger Games, will she be able to help Katniss in her efforts against the Capital? What will happen with her relationship with Finnick? Will everyone survive?
