Kione is a quiet girl who leads a normal life until two men in a beaten-down white van kidnap and take her to a lab. Kione lives from then on in the torturous place, where they seem to take everything that matters in life away, including her family and her past. The lab gives her a new name; Sara. They give her a new home; a stiff white bedroom with bars on the one window that gives light to the room.They won't tell her anything about her past. The only comfort she has is a girl named Ruby, who tells Sara all she knows about the secretive lab.
