"Avery open the door!!" Shawn yelled as he banged his bandaged fists against the dark wood door that had been locked from inside of my room. I couldn't let him in. That would be a stupid descision. He'd remind me of how I shouldn't do what I was doing to myself. He'd remind me that it would be okay. 

And if he tells me that then I'd gain hope. And hope kills people. It truly does. It killed my mom, and the only reason it did, was because of me wasn't  it? It was all MY fault.
