Chic to Hip: The struggle of becoming a Teenage Hipster

Typically a Hipster can be identified by vintage or thrift-store bougt clothing, a taste for obscure or underground music, a penchant for irony and an elitist attitude.

Naturally, being yourself is the correct lifestyle to choose. But why be yourself when you could be a hipster, and not just any hipster, but a teenage hipster. Adopting words such as: deck, piece, and kale does not automatically  classify you as a teenage hipster. You have to adapt to the hipster lifestyle.
When Astoria moves across country from the city that never sleeps to teenage hipster central, is she able adjust to her new lifestyle filled with vintage clothing and new lingo?
