A teenage girl, Valery Matthews lives with her mother, Rose and little sister, Lane . Her father, who refused to share with his family in which line of work he busied himself with, went missing and left no clues or suggestions as to here he is. She knew that he was involved in a unspecified military business operation but that is all she knew. His commanding officer tried to convince Rose that Herold,  father, was being help captive somewhere in Dublin, but there wasn't enough to satisfy Valery's longing for her father's safety.  
Months later Herold's partner, Kade Adams, was attacked by presumably the same people who have Herold and Kade is relocated to live with Herold's family where his commanding officer believes he will be safe. 
Kade and Valery soon realize that they have a connection beyond a mutual concern for Harold and they decide to team up to find him and bring him home all the while trying to find contentment in their new, strange friendship.All Rights Reserved
