Monsters. 
They don't hide under your bed or in the closet. 
They don't lurk in the dark or the shadows. 
They look just like you and me. 
They like to come out when the sunrises too. 

But something I learned about monsters, is that even monsters have nightmares.

"Elizabeth what have you done?" I hear the broken voice come from behind me.

"It was the only way," I whispered.

"What are we going to do now?" The voice said more broken. 

"Who said anything about a we? There is no we. This is all on me. I'm going down for this. And before you say anything, don't you dare side with me. Do you understand?" I turn back to look at my sister. 

Tears spill from her eyes. "Yes, Elizabeth."

They say I'm a traitor and maybe I am. All I know is that I did what I had to do. There was no other option. 

I only had two options, either I go through with it and I die. Or I don't go through with it and we all die.

I couldn't let my sisters die. Not after all we have been through. 

"Katie, I need you to let the other girls know not to stand by me. When it comes down to it. Walk away. I'm going to be okay. Save yourselves. Be selfish for once in your fucking lives and just worry about yourselves. You can't let them find the forget-me-nots. Do you understand?! Do what you have to do but don't let them find them!
