Rob had wanted to be an accountant. Mike and Joe had the potential of becoming wonderful graphic designers. Brad had always planned to be a lawyer. Dave wanted to pursue a career in philosophy or music. And of course, Chester was still forced to struggle with his drug addiction and was forced to deal with the pressure of making enough money for his wife, Talinda, and his kids. So here's the burning question- what would've happened if Linkin Park had never met? What if after all those years, on one fateful day...

Uncovering the truth is only the beginning of the end. Mentions of sexual abuse. Sorry I haven't finished Deadpan yet, but I ran into a writer's block and came out of it with this story in mind. It's going to be pretty short, but I can actually finish this one instead of leaving it incomplete.

Chester Bennington is known as the weird boy at school with a destructive path. He suffers through numerous hardships and is failing all of his classes. He couldn't care less. With no luxuries, friends, or barely the reminisces of a family, Chester's life is falling apart. Except, he can't see how bright of a future he truly has. He has strong vocals and a passion for singing but doesn't believe he can actually make it. With no self esteem, he won't try. How will these boys cross paths?
