"You don't get to chose what happens Landon. You're not my father, you're not god, so stop trying to act like you are. You are not in control," I screamed at him, my brown hair waving in the wind.
The moon shined down at us, lighting up the sidewalk we stood on. My anger was fuming with each breath I took.
"I'm not in control? Really, Lila, that's funny, tell me is there a time in your life where you remember you had been in control?" He snapped back just as viscously as I did.
I opened my mouth to respond but closed it after not finding any words to say. Looking at the ground, I hung my head down low in shame.
"That's what I thought," He spat at me, scoffing a bit.
------------
Lila Poper has never had it easy. With her mom dead, and her dad never home, she has no one.
To make it even worse, she's bullied by her whole school and by the one she hates most, Landon Morke.
Landon is your typical teenage boy. He has it all, good looks, a good amount of money, and of course with these things come popularity. But unfortunately, this has a bad outcome for Lila as the whole school follows in his steps, bullying her, just like Landon does.
But things intensify, feelings get thrown, and strange things happen. Friends are made, along with enemies. Inner demons and insecurities are faced with as she tries to escape Landon's rath. Will Lila survive this hell she's living, or will she shatter into many broken pieces as everyone wants her to?
This story is currently on hold. It needs to be rewritten and edited majorly seeing as I wrote this when I was way more inexperienced with writing.
"I..."
"Stop it!" he shouts, stopping me in mid sentence "I hate you."
"B-But why? Why do you hate me?"
"Oh! You know the reason."
"If I would've, then I would've never bothered you."
"Stop! Stop acting so naive and shit!"
"I..."
"I hate you! And that's it!" he turns and starts walking away.
"We used to be best friends!" I was on the verge of tears.
"Absolutely! We USED to be!" he says over his shoulder and dissappears from my sight.
