Vampires and Humans fought until war dawned upon them. Politicians fled, too selfish to care about the rest of us. They took over... And it was never the same.

Once 18, humans would be auctioned off to vampires. They would own them and humans would have to obey. Whether it be for blood, a maid or for other, dirty purposes, it didn't matter. Humans lived in fear huddled in their homes praying it would all end. But it never did. 

Each county had a representative, the Duke, and they would keep things in order. They were obviously Vampires. They would make sure the humans suffered. Badly.

Every year, all those of age would be sent off to the auction, if unsold, they would face death. In the worst way possible. Being drained of their blood...
