Chance of a Lifetime

Chance Evans is dying.

At five years old, Chance was diagnosed with leukemia. At ten, she began chemotherapy.

Now, at fifteen, she feels her time is coming.

One lonely winter night, the whispers in her head pull her outside into the snow, where she sees Nicole Wilson, the spunky, red-haired girl who bullied Chance relentlessly throughout her entire high school career.

Chance is given a choice by the Angel of Death: give up her life and save Nicole, or let Nicole die and have Chance cured of cancer.
