In the year X764, celestial mage Layla Heartfilia retired and entrusted her keys to others with the consent of her spirits. All except for one, who refused point blank to leave her side. In the beginning of year X778 a young Mirajane Strauss successfully runs away from the Fairy Tail guild hall and out of the town of Magnolia. Now in year X784 a new member has come to join the infamous guild, and with her comes a new take on a magic others would consider weak. Lucy held the picture in her hands, listening to the deafening roar of her opponent. Juvia and Gray lay on the ground behind her, Gray's body thrown over the other girls as if to protect her though both were unconscious. Wendy held an unconscious Charle in her arms, one eye clenched tightly shut as Happy placed one paw on her calf, tears in his eyes. After a great deal of struggle Juvia and Lucy managed to push the redhead aside so they could squeeze into the room. When they finally made it neither of them could believe their eyes.
