And there i was. If this was a normal day, I couldn't have been more dead than i was then. I was falling fifty stories down with a giant hole in my chest. I could have literally put my arm through my body at the time, it was that gruesome. As panicked as i should have been, i felt strangely relaxed. As i still had 35 floors to fall, i felt a sinking feeling in my chest, like one that felt weirdly dormant for a while. I had to make a choice that would change my life forever. It would cause self-realization, freedom, and discovery, while also causing death, sadness, and regret. It would be a choice i would have another seven seconds to make, lest i would die

And so, i spread my wings for the first time
