Xander Gueye owned an apartment and not really much else. In desperate need of money and a way to manage his cluttered life, he put up an offer up for a roommate, hoping to make quick cash off some gullible freshman. Instead, he was faced with an all too loud, anger-driven girl wearing heels. Or, one heel, the other was stuck in his door.
But, as cliché and normal their budding romance seemed, a few too many details were left out. Things such as how Xander was in love with his roommate and Kia was head-over-heels engrossed in her opponent she all wished to beat up. But, mainly, that not only did Xander have a heart of gold, he also owned a cape.
He hated his enemy and just wished he could muster up the courage to ask his roommate out. She was in a confusing love/hate relationship with her city's "hero" and never bothered to see the heart-eyes her breakfast buddy kept sending her. But, for both their cases, neither could've expected they'd be living with their nemesis.
