Annie Powrie and her older sister, Alexia, move from California to London, England. There, the sisters discover that Lord Voldemort is on the rise, and people are dying or being taken by his Death Eaters.
Annie feels silly, but in the middle of it all, she feels homesick and wishes sometimes that she could go back, even when she's laughing with her friends.
Alexia feels awful, but puts on a brave face for her sister. She misses her ex, Ivan (he broke up with her, not the other way around) and wishes that she were seven again so she doesn't have to deal with heartbreak.
Will stress and worry ruin Hogwarts' charm, or are there really happy endings, even in the darkest times?
