Emerald and Silver necklace - Family heirloom; kept by great-grandmother to give to Alison's father, knowing he would have a daughter. Alison's great-grandfather had a necklace made for his wife with her birthstone because they discussed a family heirloom. Represents the next reigning female leader in the Mafia family.

Alison's Father - Obtained necklace but never acted as leader. Kept necklace until Alison was of age to know about the family history. Left town so his family didn't have to participate until Alison becomes of age. Came home when Rossi family needed help with rivalries. Alison going to same high school as next reigning Rossi family Don.

Jason - Alison's little brother. Doesn't know what's going on around him.

Rosalina (Rossi) Valentino - Contessa's mother. Part of the Rossi Mafia family. She is ½ Polish and ½ Italian. Got married to Angelo Sebastian Valentino but divorced him because he cheated on her. Is a fashion designer and loves what she does.

Angelo Sebastian Valentino - Contessa's father. Part of the Valentino family ½ Ukrainian and ½ Italian. Married to Rosalina but gets divorced because he cheated on her with Sapphire. Is a medic to the Mafia and doctor at the hospital.

Ryan - Contessa's driver/bodyguard. Was in the army but got pulled out to work with the Rossi/Valentino family. He has no kids and doesn't want any but he considers Contessa one of his own.
