MOTHERS
AMERICAN HORROR STORY meets THE HANDMAID'S TALE with a bit of WESTWORLD weaved in Four women, fresh out of a super secret governmental experiment, are dragged back into the laboratory where they lived--to save the world from the specimens they helped produce. ***** It's 2050, and the world--in particular the not-so-United States of America--has undergone a lot of changes. A dictator who refuses to relinquish his presidential power reigns over the country, and humans--especially women--see their rights diminished more and more each day. Some are forced to enter special programs to stay safe from men who seek to harm them, and others accept to be part of freaky experimental trials in back-alley labs for a bit of cash to pay the rent. Four women who participated in one such trial--one *actually* sanctioned by the US government--are coping with their new lives when a member of said lab comes to find them, to let them know that the experiment they participated in has gone awry... and they are the only ones who can help fix it all. *TRIGGER WARNING for gore, violence (especially towards women, but NOT domestic abuse), oppression (to women, mostly), explicit language, possible sexual situations inappropriate for readers under 18. PLEASE DO PROCEED WITH CAUTION.*Complete

I saw the corner of his mouth twitch and before I could comprehend anything he tightened his hold on my throat, my mouth was already slightly open so he had the opportunity to shove a gun in my mouth. I tried to move back away from him but he tightened his hold and shove the gun farther down my throat causing me to make loud gurgling choking sounds, the taste of metal, fire and smoke spread into my taste buds causing me to gag, that's the same gun he had shot my father with. "Do you have trouble speaking? I'll help you talk my love, there must be something stuck in your throat?" He said shoving the gun deeper, by now the base of his pistol was pressed down against my lips as I choked loudly. I screamed and jumped in fright as he pulled the trigger. Nothing, No bullets were fired. The force of the gun shook my whole body. I gargled and shook my head no repeatedly, but he wasn't satisfied. he squeezed my throat and completely blocked my airway. By now I started panicking more as I could no longer breathe, what does he want me to say?? please just stop this. "I merry gyou" I somehow managed to gargle those words out hoping he hears them. My mouth tastes like metal and I could taste blood as well, the force of the gun being shoved down my throat scratched the inside of my mouth.Complete
Matriarchy: No Need For Men.
Chapter 2: World War III (Running!!) Men are gone. Women rule. Imagine a world where men no longer matter-would you survive the matriarchy? What happens when feminism goes too far? This book explores the consequences of a future where the natural balance between men and women collapses. Feminism, having transcended all boundaries, reshapes humanity into a female-centered species. Men, stripped of purpose, exist as relics of the past, serving only as pets in a system that mirrors a hive, where women reign supreme. Biologically, mothers are the gatekeepers of life. Historically, survival forced men and women into partnership-men as protectors and providers, sometimes oppressors, while women adapted to survive under natural pressures. But when humanity masters nature, this necessity vanishes. With no war, famine, or struggle, cooperation dissolves. Robots and AI take over all labor, while science frees women from biological dependence on men, allowing reproduction through stem-cell technology. Men are no longer needed for survival, yet they are not entirely discarded, kept instead as sentimental pets. This is the final form of feminism: a system that abandons equality under the guise of progress, reducing men to a perpetual loop of servitude. Matriarchy: No Need for Men critiques a future where dominance replaces balance, and ideology supersedes the natural truths of human existence. It is a stark warning, not only for men but for all who value the delicate equilibrium that defines humanity.
SAMENESS
/// SAMENESS, WHAT WE STRIVED FOR SO LONG TO ACHIEVE. BUT WHAT IF YOU'RE DESTINED TO BE DIFFERENT? \\\ Nine months of Hibernation, three months of being awake--that's how the year goes for us. Half of us wake up tired and sore while all of us wake up smelling of either lotion or bleach. But during the nine month period of hibernation, I woke up. And now I know why I always wake up sore and reeking of bleach. ⥀ Humans have always strived for equality, for everyone to be treated equal. We finally reached the point of this harmony, this level of sameness--and everyone is happy. Many, many generations later. But what happens when, in a wold of people knocked down and stood up to be exactly alike, a person wants to be different? What if they're destined to be unique in a world of strict equality? ⥀ #10 in Scifi on 7/21/17 MADE IT TO ROUND 3 IN THE WRITERS OLYMPICS Now available as a paperback and ebook. The Trouble with Women
A woman suspects that her government-imposed birth control implant is controlling her. As reports of uncharacteristically violent female behaviour begin to surge, it becomes evident that the mandatory implant is wreaking havoc on women's impulse control. Creator: Friend or Foe?
This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis. I discovered that that is not a great way to build a plot. I ended after 5 more drafts, at about 60k words. There is another draft on my blog, slightly longer, a bit more experimental. This is only meant to be a marker of progress. I hope some may find it enjoyable, useful, and even helpful. If interested in the 6th draft: https://shiradest.wordpress.com/2014/12/20/martin-luther-king-rabbinical-commentary-poster-inspired-a-novel/ Peace, ShiraComplete
