Wake up, go to school, study, sleep, repeat. This is a typical day for someone like Avery, a nerd,
or more specifically someone who is "boringly studious." That about sums it up. Boring. That's
what she believes anyways. However, it seems not everyone believes so.
After Avery receives multiple mysterious letters in the mail with pictures attached, she begins
to think she may have a secret admirer. Before she knows it, she's living a life she never thought
possible, and soon realizes life's not only about getting A's and studying for the next exam. And
maybe her family isn't so bad after all.

Normally, this wouldn't be Chelsea Arnold's problem-she does her best to pay attention in class and attends gym like a good, normal student. Unfortunately, she just so happens to be his assigned desk partner in many classes. She's frequently forced to wake him in English class and ends up earning the unofficial title of Nolan's Wake-up Alarm-a title that nobody in the entire school covets. Everyone needs friends, and now this Anne girl has singled him out. Part of him aches for human contact, and he's not immune to her quirky sense of humor, but she might be totally insane.
