Eyes of the Warrior
When I was first found by the Matriarch, I was named Val-iea, Little Warrior. I was different, but she and the others of the Tribe love me all the same. If I had never had a Finding, it would have been so much easier. People were afraid of Orcs; most are still wary at the very least. They used to say that an Orc's flesh is as cold and hard as death, that their voices sounded like stones tumbling down the side of a mountain, and that their eyes could freeze you with fear, like a dragon's. I wish that the Humans would have just left us all alone. Now, after many years of peace, war is threatening again because of a spoiled little youngling. If Shurgal and I can not stop it, then everything his father, the Chieftain, has worked for will go to waste. Looks like now would be a very good time for those instincts that everyone claims I have to finally kick in. Sometimes, I wish there was no magic.Complete

The Otherworldly Ballad
/Profanity Warning!/ Orien Wells has always been good at reading people-too good, perhaps. But when he awakens to magic, his empathic abilities reveal far more than emotions: he can see the dark corruptions twisting through spells that others consider perfectly normal. His own magic defies explanation, leaving traces that shift through impossible color spectrum while established wavelength theory insists such patterns can't exist. In a world where mages bend reality through pure emotion and every spell leaves a measurable signature, Orien's abilities mark him as dangerous-or invaluable. Ancient powers take notice. Enemies emerge from unexpected places. And somewhere in the back of his mind, he remembers fragments of a life that was never his. As magical society fractures between those who would preserve the old ways and those willing to corrupt innocent people for power, Orien must navigate betrayals that cut deeper than politics and discover what his impossible abilities truly mean. Because being different in a world of wavelengths and frequencies isn't just dangerous-it might be the key to everything.
Hybrid *discontinued*
Jacob lived on the top floor of the east wing of the research building. He wasn't a scientist though. He was an experiment. Almost everyone in the east wing was an experiment. His best friend Gracie was an experiment. What type of experiment, you ask. Well everyone here is a hybrid between human and some other animal. Most people can tell you exactly which breed of animal and what percentage of that animal they are. Jacob can tell you that he is mixed with a dove. He can't tell you any more that that though. He doesn't know what percentage he is because he is a failed experiment. What happens when Jacob meets Jason? a wolf hybrid with a plan. He has a plan to escape the torture of the scientists. But, he cant do it alone. What happens when a group of five hybrids get together to escape and hopefully save any future people from becoming experiments too?Complete
