His eyes were deep oceans glittering in the light of the moon. Yet they were iridescent and flecked with every shade of blue. "Stop looking at me like that," he averted his eyes from her deep swirls of brown, that colored her pupils. Her face had became the color of a bad sunburn, suddenly feeling awkward as she attempted to hide her rosey cheeks behind her skinny fingers. "Don't do that," he said quietly. "Don't do what," she questioned him curiously. Lifting his pale, warm hands, he removed hers from hidding her rosey cheeks, only for them to become more rosey. "Don't hide from me," he said seriously, scaring me slightly by his tone of voice. ~Read At Your Own Risk~

In one swift motion, he had me secured against him. Every inch of my skin that was flushed against him heated. Even through the thin fabric of my dress and his blazer. Turning my head to look up at his face, I didn't care that my lips had parted and that my eyes probably looked hazy and a little clouded. Keeping our gazes locked, my arms lifted of their own accord, my hands linking behind his neck. Without really knowing how, my hips started moving. And we were dancing. The memory of us dancing when we were children crossed my mind. How ironic it was that we'd found ourselves in the same situation after twenty years and now that we seemed like completely different people.
