I thought I had died on my way home from work and that the gods had blessed me with a loving father in the afterlife. I was ready to accept that where I now stood was simply an illusion-an afterlife crafted just for me. How could I have known that my soul had traveled to another world? A world inside a book. I must have sinned greatly for the gods to abandon me, leaving me in this hellish place where I have to fight for my life every single day. I have no cousins who see me as family, no mother I can depend on. My home is filled with two-faced faes, and to make matters worse, my father's favorite general has taken it upon herself to act as some kind of mother figure, filled with hatred. The woman whose body I now possess was supposed to be dead. My death should have been the breaking point for my loving father-the event that turned him into a cruel, evil villain for the protagonist to defeat over 100 years later. Now, I am trapped in the book series I had read only because my friend loved it. And I can barely recall key details because I never bothered to read it carefully. It was already a horrible story riddled with many plot holes. And being stuck in it? It's even worse-especially as someone who wasn't even mentioned in the book because she was supposed to die early on. ~.~ This is a transmigration ACOTAR story set before Amarantha was sent as an emissary to Prythian. While the war over slavery has already occurred, I've altered the timeline and some details about the war's history. I also dislike the trope of a "truly evil" villain whose sole purpose is to justify the plot of a war or the extension of a series. With this short story, I want to give the villain a backstory-a name and depth-saving him from the same mediocre depiction of a tyrant.

Long ago, three tribes coexisted in harmony: Humans, the original inhabitants of Earth; Cantari, a powerful race descended from the first Pureblood Cantari and the wielder of song Magic; and Scepters, enigmatic beings resembling the souls of the dead. This peace was shattered when human scientists betrayed the trust of the Cantari by creating Artificial Maidens, synthetic beings designed to surpass the original Cantari. This revelation caused a conflict between humans and Cantari, leading to the birth of three distinct colonies: one consisting of both humans and Cantari trying to coexist, another made up only of humans and Artificial Maidens, and a secluded human colony that chose to remain hidden from the war. The bloodlust of the war slowly withered the holy tree, which had once held each territory connected. Eventually, the tree began to decay completely, causing the earth to become unstable. Both the Cantari and humanity realized their grave mistake, but it was too late to revive the tree. The humans who had joined the war were transformed into homunculi-mindless beings driven only by destruction. The Cantari sacrificed themselves, dividing the world into four parts and isolating the last survivors of humanity and younger Cantari from the homunculi. -------- Exclaimer : This story is actually a crossover story. I don't own the music/song I used and characters in other series/game except my original characters. This fanfic even though mostly, has the same element as a game named Ar-Tanelico,it doesn't have relationships with its canon characters. Enjoy Also.. There's gore a bit there and there. I'm not going to explain it that much but yeah.

Despite it being well past sunrise, the house was dark. I had woken up with a start, hearing the sound of a car below but now as I lay awake, I was in even more of a panic. "Don't make a sound." She whispered as she clasped a hand over my mouth, "The house is surrounded. They're going to kill us. They're going to kill the countries." ... It is gradually nearing to two decades since Taishya Rovanoff ran away with her twins and despite the media taking the world by storm, great tensions are underlying once-happy friendships with the nations. When a young and perhaps too-curious state comes across some files, she decides it is her own personal mission to solve the missing-twin mystery. This, however, proves more challenging than not when old scars are reopened leading to a series of events which brings the world to its knees. With forgotten prophecies and mysterious attacks threatening the lives of once-strong countries, the world is inevitably falling apart. So how is it, with all the chaos going on, a missing lady, a set of twins, a naïve child, a sickly teenager, a frightened mother, a celestial body and a queen all bring about the darkest hour the personified nations have ever faced? How is it that the threads of the earth are slowly undoing to bring about the start of the end of the world? ... DISCLAIMER: The story, all names, characters, and incidents portrayed in this production are fictitious. No identification with actual persons, places, buildings, and products is intended or should be inferred. The only things that I own are the plot, Taishya and any other OC's I might decide to include. If I did own Hetalia, I wouldn't be writing this...actually, I reckon I would be on an island, basking in the sun and drinking a pineapple cocktail whilst my servants brought slices of nectarines. Hetalia and it's characters belong to their rightful genius owner, Hidekaz Himaruya...(seriously, that man is a god!).

"In every age and every time, the only constant is the capacity for change." The following tales follow those who fight for and against change and why they laid down their lives for their causes. The first story, Dance of Gunpowder and Ink, follows the story of Adelmar Athanaric and Lothar de Sven as they fight for and against the reforms that their kingdom needs to survive. However, it isn't just the story of these two men, but the story of a nation and how it changes and grows to adapt to changing times. The second, Chosen of Emptiness, follows Isidore, the sixth member of the hero's party, as he uncovers the disturbing secrets at the heart of his world. Through his journey both with the great heroes of the age and alone, he sees all the wonders and horrors the world has. As he learns more and more, the knowledge will force him and the entire world to change and create a new world. The third, Dual Diaries of the Revolution, follows Aleksander Meliton, a revolutionary against an oppressive empire and Ilja Arseniy, a member of the secret police who strives to maintain order in a chaotic time. Both these men will come to embody the times that they live in and the broader forces at play in society. When the dust settles after the conflict, who will decide who was right and wrong? Finally, the fourth, Synthetic Dreams, follows the story of Alcides Flores, a mercenary in a cyberpunk city trying to scrape by‌ doing with what little he has. Soon he meets a young idol singer and vows to help her stay free from her oppressive family. But because of this and him reconnecting with past friends, he gets dragged into a grand conspiracy involving the two biggest corporations in the city, with no way out. (This story is also being posted on Scribble Hub and Royal Road)
