"How can we be together when we're so different?" Loki said. He was giving up, knowing that he would forever come in last.
"We may be different from the world, but not from eachother," I said as I closed in the space between us, Loki pushed me away.
"You deserve more. More than a second son, more than the family's disappointment, more than an outcast." His words hit me like an arrow to the chest. He couldn't see how truly wonderful he was.
"We're both misfits, never truly belonging anywhere but together," Loki turned to look at me to see how sincere I was. He was the god of mischief and could tell truths from lies. He smiled, actually smiled and cupped my hand in his.
"An Asgardian warrior raised as a Midguardian and the forgotten prince. What a pair," Which made me laugh and realized how much I really loved him.
