Summer has arrived, and Aleksandra, Dareon, Atlanta, and Lucan make their way to Zarkarath for the second ruler of their assignments. The dragons suddenly gone from their dreams, and with the entire kingdom of Zarkarath aware of their arrival, they don't have a second to lose focus.

But they hardly can when Aleksandra's taken by Zarkarians and sold to an entertainment ring that puts Wielder against Wielder to a fight to the death. Highest bidder rakes in the spoils.

Now it's a race to retrieve their witch and find King Cragon in the large Southern Kingdom of Zarkarath, all while avoiding bounty collectors that are out for their heads, or simply those who want to officially destroy the remnants of the West. Atlanta has no longer become an exception.

Not only this, but beings hidden in shade and glow rise and whisper into their ears, thieve into their dreams, and haunt them from a distance. Who are they and what could they possibly want? What could their purpose be if they've already acquired the trust of select few mortals? Our Dragon vessels are confronted with more enemies than they could have ever considered, and they have yet to trust each other completely to get any further with their quest.

And it is not in King Cragon's interest to just let them succeed easily.

She feels as if she's still stuck in the same place from when she entered the library two years ago. One incident makes her leave the Night Court and into another court. How will she react? Azriel was there in Sangravah, but he had arrived too late. Ever since the incident, Azriel has been slipping farther and farther away from his family. He doesn't know why the incident had been eating away at him, it wasn't his first time failing at his job. Azriel finds shocking news that he must keep from Gwyn. The plot line derives somewhat from the initial description. P.S. : I do not own this art, I just made it as my cover!
