Ezekiel 'Zeek' Taylor is not your normal lonely high school student, waking up one morning with super human strength made that reality impossible. So when Zeek commits a fatal error on the football field, sending his world spiraling out of control, it officially puts "normal" out of reach for him. A threat is issued against him, following the incident at the big game. And that's when the people in his life start disappearing. Strangest of all though is the mysterious gray eyed girl that seems to have taken an interest in him. Zeek doesn't know it yet, but her appearance ensures that his lonely little world is about to get a whole lot less lonely.

Aiko never meant to break reality-she just wanted to make it through one more day without falling on her face. Quiet, clumsy, and often laughed off as a walking disaster, she's spent her life blending into the background of a noisy city that never noticed her. But all that changes on a rainy evening at the edge of twilight-when one simple misstep sends more than her schoolbooks flying. Time glitches. Gravity bends. The world blinks. And from the cracks in the ordinary, something ancient and chaotic stirs inside her. They said she was unlucky. They had no idea how right they were. Now Aiko must face the strange force she's awakened-a swirling, unpredictable energy that warps the laws of reality around her. As cities tremble and fate rewrites itself in her presence, Aiko is forced to ask the one question she's always feared: What if the real danger... is her?
