I, Aria Montgomery, thought that before. I mean, it worked for my mother, and my mother's mother, but no, not for me. I had a life. But now, it's just like a broken piece of what used to be a beautiful seashell, now buried at the bottom of the dark ocean past.
You know, I don't know why I kept holding onto hope. After the incident, I should've just left completely, just leave the past behind and never look back again. I guess I haven't yet because I'm still holding onto hope. The hope that one day everything will be back to normal like how it was before the incident. I want my life back.

Will she be able to overcome her emotional and mental walls, even if it means that she'd be vulnerable? Being on the ground will change Hailey in ways that the people on the ark would never expect. A broken girl... Twenty years old and I'd finally had enough.
