One hand was around my waist and his other was clutching a beer bottle. Leaning against the grave, I let my shoulders drop and rested my head against his collar bone. I'm not sure how I ended up here, or why I'm still here. The wind was sharp and I could no longer hear his breathing over the sound of the wolves howling and leaves rustling. Soon he'd run out of pot and we'd go. I'd sleep in the back of his car and wrap myself with his letterman jacket. He'd drive me home and I'd tell myself he's wasn't going to another girl's house as soon as he found another blunt. But that was before he left and before he took a part of me with him. I'm Anna and this is how I lost myself, lost him, and fell downhill. All Rights Reserved
