Everyone hates Sans for what he did. He is one of the bullies' favourite targets. But Grillby can't bring himself to hate him. He has loved him for a while and knew he needs to admit his feelings. He plans to do it. 

Sans loves Grillby. He would never admit his feelings to Grillby because he thinks Grillby hates him. But one time when he was being mocked it hits him hard. He realises that he needs to confess his feelings, so he plans to do it.
