Princess Talula is the fated Queen of the Kingdom of Haercrest, after her father's alleged sudden death. However, due to the law of the past ascensions, the people of Haercrest are unwilling to accept her being seated on the throne until she is wed. The King of Malgrov has made a proposal to her but due to his malicious actions, Talula is wary of becoming his Queen, knowing his Kingdom will be merged with hers. She is worried that once Malgrov and Haercrest become one, her allies will become enemies. Talula meets a charismatic, mysterious man who she later falls in love with. But in the end, it turns out he's not who he says he was. Is this a love story gone wrong?
