20 years ago the humans have found out about the werewolves. It terrified them but that calmed down a few years later. Apparently the governement was still in chaos so they brought down and burnt the strongest pack in America and took its new borns to train into becoming Guardians. There were 51 babies they have obtained. The oldest, my brother, the Alpha's son dead and the 2nd strongest me. Each Guardian is sent to a different state pack to protect the humans and report the pack's action. But what if the pack I'm assigned to's soon to be Alpha might be my mate?

A pack is only as strong as it's alpha, a weak alpha means a weak pack, and no pack can survive with just a Luna or just an alpha. A pack needs both, but when your alpha is a 76 year old, your Luna passed away, and their only child is a girl, things get a little complicated. 76 year old Jed found his mate at 50 years old, the two were only able to have one miracle baby. Jed knows that his pack needs a new alpha and Luna quickly because of his age and his health problems. He knew how hard it was for him to find his mate, and he did not want the same for his daughter.
