This is an original story by me, Seishin Shizuka. It is my first time writing anything on such a public platform. I just hope someone gets some enjoyment out of reading it. Regardless of wether people like it or not, I still intend to keep writing the story to completion though. I do welcome criticism and your opinions of it though. Thank you :)

I have sat often in front of the computer, and stared long at the screen without ever writing a word. The synopsis for this project has haunted me since the first person asked me "So, what is it about?", and to this day I have never been able to deliver a straight answer. This book comes out of my late nights and early mornings riding the train, and my looking at the window and being able to make out nothing but the blur of the glass. From the outside it may look dead, but certain people know that the inner workings of a city are a true marvel to behold. In writing this, I have tried to capture that marvel and deliver it to you, the reader. This is a book about a city and the people within it. The rest is up for you to read, if you so choose.
