John was looking at the others, his mouth continuing to chant the meaningless babble. He didn't understand why either he or his wife would get involved in such affairs. But he was steadily beginning to fear his wife and the others more and more, so he didn't question why he must chant. He didn't believe in demons or such nonsense anyway, so nothing really bad could come from trying to meddle with some make believe pentagrams with his wife's creepy cult friends.
