Half of Hinata's leg is missing. All this time, he has been playing Volleyball with a prosthetic leg. No one on his team knows about this, and he'd like to keep it that way.
When they attend a practice match against Aoba Johsai, Hinata finally gets to see Oikawa again, his friend who helped him get through his rehabilitation after the accident.
But what will happen when something goes wrong? Will Oikawa still help him, or have they grown too far apart and he forgot? Will the team find out? If so, will Hinata be kicked off the team?

"Hinata, are you limping?" Kageyama yelled from across the gym. Everyone paused in their tracks, surprised by the sudden outburst. Hinata fell over as he was in midair in the middle of practicing one of their quicks. "W-what?" Hinata exclaimed, surprised that Kageyama actually noticed. It wasn't really like him to care anyway. Kageyama walked towards him with a unidentifiable expression. To Hinata, Kageyama was the most scary when he wasn't expressing his usual anger. "Stand up." To an athlete, your body is all you've got; and Hinata has tried for way too long to reach the point he is to just give up.
