Author's Note: This version is a 'sneak peek' at where I am at in the novel now. This is a draft only. The novel is expected to be published as a finished book in late 2019 or early 2020. This first section of the novel establishes the relationship between Luke - the narrator - and Gustav, his best friend, who are driven to find adventure and together, their youthful quest lands them in the middle of the Syrian Civil War naively joining the ISIL 'rebels'. Escaping the clutches of the terror group proves much more difficult than joining.
In future chapters, I want to explore another theme running abreast of the war, and that is the fate of many refugees who end up as slaves essentially, after their resources dry up and they have no option but to sell their labor and their souls, usually. Thus, the next scenes will be about the boys' escape by ship through the Aegean Sea and their suspicions that a Syrian woman and her young child who are aboard are being exploited for the modern slave market. Luke wants desperately to help possible victims while Gustav is reluctant to get involved because he suspects that the slavers would do anything to protect their "property". He sees the slavers as potentially more lethal than ISIS.

ITS VERY BAD LMAO Staffie and her dog Unicorn, a white great dane puppy, move to her uncle and aunt's mansion after her parents 'died'. her uncle and aunt have to go on a business trip, leaving Staffie and Unicorn in a house full of boys... vampire boys. they all look to be around the same age, but in reality are thousands of years apart. she falls in love with the eldest out of the six brothers; Tayson, or Tay for short. when some questions of her past pop up, she has figure out who or more like WHAT she is. when she discovers her true identity, things turn upside down in her life. even if that's possible. 'watch out humans, there's a Reaper in town. try not to die!' ---- prologue "Mitch we have to leave!" Annabelle yelped, holding a baby girl with black hair and blue eyes in her arms. "leave! go somewhere safe!" Mitch said, pulling a knife out of his leg. they were fleeing from the townspeople who had lit their house on fire screaming; "be gone evil demons!" all the couple wanted was to be able to live like normal humans, but atlass that was impossible. (sorry if this sounded mean) Description: This a Stockholm/Lima Syndrome story, Sara and Donia have been kidnapped by a bunch of reckless boys that they've firstly mistaken by a serious criminal gang but soon enough they discover that they're just normal males with an abnormal talent that are as harmless as a butterfly, the two heroine captives find themselves opening up to their captors developing some unplanned for feelings (Stockholm Syndrome) surprisingly to find their captors developing the same type of feelings back at their captives (Lima Syndrome) but could both sides really find a way for it to work out and be a normal couple? This Fanfic focuses on BMd & Said (they're the main male heroes) but it will also include the other 3 lads (Ahmed, Kazem and Adil) and they will have great interference with the story as well. (I wrote this goddamn years ago, it's horrible and probably one of my biggest regrets in life :) Just a warning that this is extremely bad, and I was very lazy when writing it. If something doesn't make sense, I know, you don't have to comment about it, my writing skills have greatly improved since I wrote this and it does not deserve the amount of reads it gets. His adoptive father has enrolled him in a near by high school and luckily found an apartment of 3 boys that had space for John and were willing to take him in. John had been to school in the past but had to leave after being turned, his father managed to forge paper work saying what school he was at before so that he could go and graduate, in order to help him live a pretty normal life. The young Vampire was expecting challenges, but he never expected to fall in love. A/N: I really hope I can keep this one up, I'm really excited to do it. Like normal no smut, but rape will be talked about.
