Author's Note: This version is a 'sneak peek' at where I am at in the novel now. This is a draft only. The novel is expected to be published as a finished book in late 2019 or early 2020. This first section of the novel establishes the relationship between Luke - the narrator - and Gustav, his best friend, who are driven to find adventure and together, their youthful quest lands them in the middle of the Syrian Civil War naively joining the ISIL 'rebels'. Escaping the clutches of the terror group proves much more difficult than joining.
In future chapters, I want to explore another theme running abreast of the war, and that is the fate of many refugees who end up as slaves essentially, after their resources dry up and they have no option but to sell their labor and their souls, usually. Thus, the next scenes will be about the boys' escape by ship through the Aegean Sea and their suspicions that a Syrian woman and her young child who are aboard are being exploited for the modern slave market. Luke wants desperately to help possible victims while Gustav is reluctant to get involved because he suspects that the slavers would do anything to protect their "property". He sees the slavers as potentially more lethal than ISIS.

(I wrote this goddamn years ago, it's horrible and probably one of my biggest regrets in life :) Just a warning that this is extremely bad, and I was very lazy when writing it. John had been to school in the past but had to leave after being turned, his father managed to forge paper work saying what school he was at before so that he could go and graduate, in order to help him live a pretty normal life. The young Vampire was expecting challenges, but he never expected to fall in love. A/N: I really hope I can keep this one up, I'm really excited to do it. Like normal no smut, but rape will be talked about. Alcohol, homophobia and disownment are also topics.Complete

THIS BOOK WAS WRITTEN WHEN I WAS LIKE TEN. ITS VERY BAD LMAO Staffie and her dog Unicorn, a white great dane puppy, move to her uncle and aunt's mansion after her parents 'died'. her uncle and aunt have to go on a business trip, leaving Staffie and Unicorn in a house full of boys... vampire boys. they all look to be around the same age, but in reality are thousands of years apart. she falls in love with the eldest out of the six brothers; Tayson, or Tay for short. when some questions of her past pop up, she has figure out who or more like WHAT she is. when she discovers her true identity, things turn upside down in her life. even if that's possible. 'watch out humans, there's a Reaper in town. try not to die!' ---- prologue "Mitch we have to leave!" Annabelle yelped, holding a baby girl with black hair and blue eyes in her arms. "leave! go somewhere safe!" Mitch said, pulling a knife out of his leg. they were fleeing from the townspeople who had lit their house on fire screaming; "be gone evil demons!" all the couple wanted was to be able to live like normal humans, but atlass that was impossible. Reapers keep taking lives, and Humans continue feering them. and so, the couple grabbed their baby girl; Staffie. their hellhound; Unicorn and grabbed their death scythe's. -one year later- they arrived in a human city where some friends lived. This book is absolute shit. I wrote this when I was ten. There is no punctuation! She cares deeply since she was kicked out of her original pack after her parents died. She told Y/N that was the reason why she was kicked, but that wasn't the full truth. She always accompanied Y/N during her little "Adventures" as children but now they are grown up and she's only become more protective. One day something strange happened. Y/N and Eclipse had met a group of people going on a quest. When one of them start flirting with Y/N, Eclipse gets defensive and ends up getting hurt. After some explanation there is a deal. To make it fair Y/N suggested that her and Eclipse get to go on the quest and help them. Eclipse is suspicious but seeing the excitement on Y/N's face made her agree anyways.Complete
