Wren Iverson is well-loved, beautiful and kind but, despite this, has never fallen in requited love. He doesn't ever see the appeal until he accidentally does with one of his six roommates. For years he's been seeing things that nobody else has and he has resorted to trying to use science to explain the phenomenon.

Leo Silva is a cute, childlike wannabe-politician who is attached to her phone. She's clever but immature and impulsive- this puts her in some sticky situations.

They meet abruptly but would've met each other anyway. When she gets over hating him (because they're forced to become best friends) they both discover something about themselves and learn of a world they didn't know existed. Maybe they aren't crazy.
