The Spire is surrounded by a powerful storm barrier, keeping the horrors outside at bay. It is said that beyond the storm, the land is overrun by Wraithborn-once-humans mutated into relentless, armored behemoths that feed on the energy of the living.
The city's elite defenders, known as the Stormguard, wear specialized gauntlets that allow them to channel the energy of the storm itself, generating electrical blades and explosive force to combat the Wraithborn. Their training is brutal, as only those who can withstand the gauntlet's power without being consumed by it survive.
