In a quest to become the world champion on the fictional online game, Angelfall Rift Run, Cedric finds himself on a new quest: get home. In a scientific accident, Cedric unknowingly takes the brunt of the failure, and wakes up in a new world.
Jumping from world to world, Cedric accrues knowledge, a band of misfits, and a yearning for the worlds he visits. Cedric fights his way back to his own Earth, but learns a darker secret. One that he must deal with before going home, if he gets home at all. With the looming threat of the destruction of worlds, Cedric needs to make a final decision. Is everyone saved? Or is Cedric cursed to wander endless versions of Earth, none of which he can call home?
