Based off the world in Veronica Roth's Divergent novels. Every one knows that the factions are supposed to stay to themselves; that they are not to intermix. For the most part, these rules have been abided by. Now, though, an exception has been made. A group of five outcasts, one from each faction, become close friends: something that is forbidden. Trouble arises when notice is taken in the gang.
When the war launched by Jeanine Matthews begins, the five friends must band together using their individual strengths to survive. Will they learn that the members of the opposing factions aren't so bad after all?
