Jake's day started out pretty normal... Well, normal for him, and then it took a memorable turn. He got a call telling him that his mother was in the hospital. Rushing home, he finds himself face to face with Casey, his oldest, dearest friend. A friend he also happens to be madly in love with, a fact that he is reminded of continually no matter where he turns. The more he works to avoid it, to deny it, or to allow his fear of ruining his favorite friendship, the more that fact seems to come home for him. Now he is faced with a simple choice, but one that will have long lasting consequences for every aspect of his life, to chase the woman he loves and risk his friendship, or to chase the safety of their friendship and ruin his happiness...
