**this is very old, and dies nit reflect my writing now ‼️ Tori Whittemore thought she had her life under control. She had great friends, a great adoptive brother, and adoptive parents. So when she is in the cemetery-by the local woods-and runs into a man named Thomas Sherwood, her life instantly turns upside down. Not,just for herself, but her friends and family too. Tori doesn't know it, but Scott and stiles are keeping secrets from her: her best friends. Scott was bitten by an alpha werewolf, and neither Scott or Stiles want to tell Tori. Go through another year of high school and that's it, move on to next year. But no, her world now revolves around werewolves. We know a lot about the American Civil War. We know about the battle at Gettysburg and how Sherman burned Atlanta but do you know many individual stories? Follow Oliver and Naomi from their arranged marriage through the war. It will be quite a journey as Naomi faces the war home alone and Oliver fights battle after battle. She will face one of the cruelest band of the southern militia army as she tries to protect the people she loves most. This is a story about the ones left home during the war. The one's who earned no great merit or place in history. The forgotten heroes of a bloody war that stood for freedom and equality for all Americans. I based some of facts in the story on writings left behind by my family that lived here in Indiana in the 1860s. My ancestors were Quaker and they were abolitionists in Indiana. We still have their homes used in the underground railroad in our family. My other side was endangered servants from Ireland and my great-great-grandfather was, unfortunately, one of the soldiers that came to Indiana while serving under John Hunt Morgan. Don't Let Me Go
You will need a tub of cookie dough for this... Trust me. This story is set following the events of Motel California, episode six of Teen Wolf Season 3. From then there is total canon divergence, becoming a sort of AU fic as I imagine Scallison through of the lens of some incredibly rough times (content warnings below). Werewolves and the paranormal still play a part in this story though. Not the best sell, but I've always been awful at summaries, that line above used to be the only description. This fic began August 9th, 2013, spurred upon two angels I met in the Teen Wolf fandom. I stopped posting regularly in 2014, as high school become more hectic and I struggled with my mental health. The last story update was in 2015 and unfortunately I was inadvertently extra cruel by leaving a five-year long cliffhanger. With a promise to conclude the story in Feb 2016 by way of chapter-but-not-really post, I'm the worst because it's actually 2020 when I wrote the final chapter. Thank you for reading. I will never be able to thank all of you enough for reading. The writing quality and typos can be attributed to young age and primarily writing these chapters on my phone at 2 am, seriously. This story was always just something for fun that I wrote for two wonderful friends. I made small changes in the story that I couldn't stand to live on, basically the typos that pained me too much to leave upon re-reading, but overall it's still the writing of someone very young, so please be kind.
