Guardians of Anteverum City

Anteverum City, with a population of just under three million people, is a city for humans with special abilities, or "ability users", located through a portal near London. Fifteen year old Lyra Edmonds is the third most powerful ability user in the world and shirks from the fame that comes along with her status. One day, the city's government contacts her and discloses a shocking secret about Anteverum City that pulls Lyra into a battle that has been occurring for millennia. Myths become reality. She joins a group called the Guardians and fights to save not only the city she calls home, but also ability users all over the world.
