Every couple years or so a special child is born. There is no recessive gene or anything, just a random paranormality.
Now if you saw Ebony Sentera walking down the streets of her small hometown of Hedgewood, you would think that she was just a normal middle school girl. But she was born with a power, one that you wouldn't know about if you spent half your life with her.
