Well if I'm not a mermaid, then what am I?

Let me tell you. I am a person with gills, that will revieve the power of water manipulation when I turn 25. Oh, and did I mention I'm a siren?

The year is 2050 and every ocean in the world has no fish. The last chance to save the entire population of sea creatures is held in 100 vile's, preserved by our ancestors. 

The humans have stolen them and hid it on their land- for God only knows what reason- at a place they call Washington D.C.  I have been sent here to find the collection of vile's. My name is Blythe Primrose, and I am an undercover mermaid.
